Winfield Public Library adds Hoopla download and streaming service

Winfield Public Library, 0S291 Winfield Road, has announced a new digital offering for patrons. The new digital service offers movies, music, comics, e-books, and audiobooks without holding back or waiting.

Hoopla is an all-in-one media service where you can browse over 950,000 titles in six different formats — eAudiobooks, eBooks, comics/graphic novels, full-length music albums, movies and TV — and instantly borrow, then download or stream the titles of your choice.

You can access items instantly without holding back or waiting. Library members can use hoopla on their Android or iOS devices, as well as FireTV, Chromecast, AppleTV, and Roku using the hoopla app.

Please note that unlike other library content platforms, Hoopla is a cost-per-use service, with the library paying for each payment instead of a fixed annual fee. Because of this pricing model, there is a limit of five checkouts per month per library card.

Create your Hoopla account today on the Hoopla app or with your Winfield Library card number.

The library is excited to offer new formats and nearly one million new titles.
