OTTUMWA — If you’re looking for your next page-turning book, music from your favorite artists, or puzzles and games to play with the family, plan to attend the Pages for Pennies book sale at This year.

Pages for Pennies will transform Expo Hall at the Bridge View Center into a book lover’s paradise May 13-15. Doors are open Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale is free and open to the public on all three days.

At Pages for Pennies, where everything is $2 or less, book lovers will find thousands of titles, authors and genres. There are also great deals on CDs, DVDs, LPs, games, puzzles and sheet music. On Sunday, everything will be sold at half price. Proceeds will go to Friends of Ottumwa Public Library, Meet Ottumwa and Bridge View Center, Inc.

Want to help make this year’s best book sale yet? Donations are now being accepted through May 2 at carts in the main lobby of the Bridge View Center, 102 Church St., during business hours. Auction organizers are looking for lightly used books, games, puzzles, vinyl records, CDs and DVDs. No magazines, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, cassette tapes or damaged equipment, please.
