James Patterson, the world’s best-selling author, will speak at the Morristown Book Festival on October 8

The world’s best-selling author will headline the main festival’s closing event
as well as a special presentation at KidFest

The Morristown Book Festival is delighted to welcome James Patterson, the best-selling author in the world! Patterson’s appearance at the exciting closing event will cap off New Jersey’s first book festival.

Patterson, who has sold over 300 million books worldwide, will join in a conversation with Carol Fitzgerald of The Book Report Network. This session will also include a Q&A session with the audience.

Each $50 event ticket includes a copy of Patterson’s latest hardcover thriller, Backfire. This special event will take place on Saturday, October 8 at 5:15 p.m. at Presbyterian Church on the Green (57 East Park Square).

Backfire explores the question, is anyone above the law? CIA agents Liam Gray and Noa Himel serve at the pleasure of the president, but the agents are sworn to uphold and defend the United States Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. When the threat comes straight from the Oval Office, that’s when the backfire begins.

Patterson also comes to Children’s party! This free appearance on Saturday, October 8, at 4 p.m., will take place at Presbyterian parish house (65 South Street). Patterson will engage with her many young fans, highlighting three of her books for young people: Ali Cross: The Secret Detective, The Elephant Girland The girl in the castle. This is a can’t-miss event for all middle and high school students, teachers, and Patterson fans of all ages.

About the Morristown Book Festival

The free all-day main festival on Saturday October 8 offers something for everyone, with over 60 award-winning authors from fiction, non-fiction, food, sports, young adults and children. The authors will speak and answer questions at five locations, all within walking distance of each other along South Street in historic Morristown, including the sanctuary and parish house of St. parish of the Presbyterian Church, the Church of the Redeemer and the Morristown. /Morris Township Library.
