Big Screen Entertainment launches new graphic novel

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC: BSEG) is turning a new leaf by launching a graphic novel division – and recent film history shows the wisdom of this strategy.

Some of the graphic novels that have been made into blockbuster movies are 300, Sin City, Snowpiercer, Watchmen, Wanted, and V for Vendetta.

Entering the rapidly growing space, Los Angeles-based production and distribution company BSEG continues its efforts to create increasingly valuable intellectual property.

“Some of the richest potentials in the literary landscape can be found in graphic novels and with a growing number of them adapted into films, this was the natural next step in our expansion,” said Sandro Monetti, Head of Development at Big Screen, who will lead the new division along with fellow BSEG board member Michael Gardiner.

In addition to seeking to acquire moving stories that the company can take from page to screen, BSEG is also planning to become an editor itself by adapting film scripts into graphic novels.

Big Screen also draws on the technical skills of its content, development and streaming teams to find new ways to bring graphic novels to life for digital audiences.

The company recently announced a slew of new content in development for film and television, as well as its own streaming platform, Big Stream Entertainment, and the graphic novel division will operate in all of these areas as well.
